WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DEPARTURE POINT PROGRAMS?

 

HARRY S. BENJAMIN, M.A., S.T.L., S.S.L., an adult educator for over twenty-five years, has taught in graduate institutions in the United States and in Europe, administered adult education programs for clergy and laity, and has served as the president of the National Organization for Continuing Education of Roman Catholic Clergy.  His professional associations include his active membership in the Catholic Theological Society of America and in the Catholic Biblical Association.  A circumnavigator of the globe, Mr. Benjamin has organized, conducted and lectured in foreign travel programs since 1976, and has served as an instructor in a major travel academy.  He is presently developing programs of professional ongoing education for architects and related professionals through Departure Point’s sister travel division, Design Point.  Mr. Benjamin is the founder and president of Departure Point and Design Point and its parent company, The Shenandoah Travel Group, Inc.

 

PATRICK B. DUNNIGAN, B.S., M.A., is an alumnus of Mount St. Mary’s College in Emmitsburg, Maryland, and the University of Kansas.  He has done additional post-graduate work at the University of Virginia, Duke University, and at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and is a former professor of biology at Radford University. Mr. Dunnigan has been active in oil and gas exploration and petroleum product marketing, most recently as a regional sales manager for a division of Koch Industries. Mr. Dunnigan and his wife, both world travelers, continue to focus on collecting and marketing museum-quality Oriental and Inuit art, gemstones, sculpture and Australian opals. Mr. Dunnigan is the vice-president of The Shenandoah Travel Group, Inc.
